How do I request my raw footage?

Paid members can request raw footage of themselves by emailing solactionsports@gmail.com. To confirm identity, we may ask for ID or other verification. Footage provided is unedited.

Can I get a high-resolution printable photo?

Yes. Paid members and free can request a printable hi-res photograph by emailing solactionsports@gmail.com. You may be asked to confirm your identity before receiving it.

How long after filming does the video appear on the Sol Action Sports Shop?

Once filming is complete, it usually takes around 5 days for the video to be edited, processed, and uploaded to the Sol Action Sports Shop. We work hard to get it up as quickly as possible so you can enjoy the latest action without too much wait!

What is Surf On Demand?

Surf On Demand is our streaming platform where members can watch surf session footage, highlights, and more, just like on Netflix — but all surf.

What is the 'Free Membership Viewing' section?

The Free Membership Viewing section is a curated collection of videos available exclusively to our free members. It’s a great way to check out what Sol Action Sports is all about — no payment required. You’ll find select clips, behind-the-scenes content, and highlights that give you a taste of the action. Just sign up for a free account and start watching!

Where can I find the 'Free Membership Viewing' section?

You’ll find the Free Membership Viewing section right on the home page, alongside the other video categories. Just scroll through and look for the heading "Free Membership Viewing" — it’s clearly marked and features videos available to all free members. No subscription needed — just sign up and start watching!

How do I become a member?

Click the Member Login link in the navigation. Once subscribed, you'll get access to member-only videos and perks like raw footage requests.

What is “SpotX Info” and how does it work?

SpotX Info (Where and When We Film) is a perk for paid members and occasionally free members. When possible, we’ll send an email with the location and time of upcoming filming sessions.

Please note: plans can change or be cancelled without notice due to conditions like tides, wind, or swell. Always check your email before heading out.

How do I get SpotX Info by email?

Go to your Account Settings and tick the Post Notification box under Email Preferences.

I’ve subscribed but can’t access the videos. What should I do?

If you're having trouble accessing your videos, ensure you're logged into the correct account. If problems persist, contact us at solactionsports@gmail.com for support.

Can I change my membership plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. Simply log into your account and adjust your membership settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Log into your account, go to your subscription settings, and select the option to cancel. Your access will continue until the end of the billing cycle.

How do I watch the videos?

Once logged in as a member, go to the Surf On Demand page to view available videos. Click on any video thumbnail to begin streaming.

How much does a membership cost?

Membership pricing varies depending on the access level. To view current plans, click Member Login in the navigation menu. You'll see available options and what's included in each.

Can I download the videos?

Currently, videos are available for streaming only to protect content and privacy. If you're a member requesting raw footage of yourself, you can contact us directly to arrange a custom download.

Why does the video look blurry or glitchy?

The original footage is high quality, but playback depends on your internet connection and browser. For the best experience, use Chrome or Safari on a fast connection. If issues continue, contact us at solactionsports@gmail.com.

What kind of videos will I see?

You'll see epic surf footage from filmed sessions, edited highlights, and exclusive clips available only to paid members. Videos are categorized and tagged so you can easily find your own sessions.

Why is my display name wrong?

It may be a default name set during account creation. You can update it in your account settings.

How do I change my display name or phone number?

Go to Account Settings, click "Edit", update your info, and save.

How do I receive SpotX Info updates by email?

To receive SpotX Info (our updates about where and when we film), make sure your email preferences are set correctly:

  2. Email Preferences, ensure the Post Notification box is ticked.

This ensures you’ll receive SpotX Info and other important updates directly to your inbox.

If you're not seeing the emails, check your spam folder and mark us as a safe sender.
